im doing this porject with an exposed ceiling space but still has the t-bar ceiling grid. how would i be able to render the just the ceiling t-bars and have the spaces where an ACT would be be empty?

One way to do it is to use a beam system.  Alternatively, you can create it using a sweep with a profile (or extrusion) and using an array to place hte grids correctly.
