Does anyone know if an image can be inserted into a 3d or perspective view?

You can't do it directly, but you can put the image behind your view on a sheet, assuming you're talking about unrendered views. For rendered views, export it as a TIF and bring it back into the project, place hte image behind as before. The other thing that you might mean is an image in a rendered view where you can use a decal.

Thanks for your time. I have an image (jpg) of our site, I want to impose our bldg on the site image. Lots of scale and orientation issues that have to be worked out yet. I'll be back.
