Is it possible to create a room schedule with a field that shows the colors for each room? Basically, I want to input the colors from the color legend into the room schedule. Thanks.

I don't believe that you can do this automatically. You can do it manually in a drafting view and overlay it on the schedule.

How do I overlay the drafting view in a schedule? Revit won't allow me to copy and paste the drafting view into a schedule. Thanks.

You can do it in a sheet view. Activate the drafting view and line up the fill patterns with the schedule. I would not do this though unless there was really a good reason to, particularly if there are many rooms as it will not update with the schedule if you change something and may inadvertantly lead to errors.
