Hello, I need to create some filled region patterns from scratch to match tile patterns we are using on a job. Everything I find seems to have a pattern created in AutoCAD as a starting point or importing a file. I don't even have it in AutoCAD and I can't find the pattern anywhere. Is there a way to create it within Revit? No short answers please, I will need a pretty good explanation if you have one! Thanks.

There is a pat file in the program folder with the definitions for the patterns, although for simple patterns you can do it directly in Revit. There is an explanation in the pat file on how to create the patterns. I created a pdf that explains it in more detail - I will try to dig this out.
