My stairs are showing only as the overall boundry in reflected ceiling plans. This is happening even to stairs that are just treads (no risers or undermount), so if revit was just truly "looking" at the underside there should be lines arrayed at 10" or whatever.

what type of stairs are you using and please post example

I don't think that you can automatically do this. One method is to create a callout of the stair from the floor plan view, set the scale to be the same as the RCP, and place it beneath the RCP on a sheet. It will snap to the correct position.

great work around Tim, thanks! It seems odd that revit wouldnt just show you what the stairs look like in actuality, but oh well
|
