Hi,

I'm trying to set up Door families and Shedules to fulfill the standrs in Sweden. I'm struggeling on two points. One is to get the wall thickness of the wall the dorr is inserted two, but reading through posts on this subject I understnd this isn't possible. The second point is to get the Door swing direction in to the schedule. What I have seen so far is that this is possible trough the API somehow but this is beyond me. I dont have a clue on how to do that.

I'm sure there is somebody here who can help med out.

I'm using revit Architecture 2010.

Regards,

Björn

In your schedule, you can add rooms then pick the door from and the door to but this will not get you the RH/LH we use in the states.  That will need to be an instance based parameter that you add.

How do I create that instance parameter? I have been looking through the prameters available but can´t find anything to do with the door Swing direction (Left/Right).

In your door schedule you can include room information - see image.  You can also create parameters in your schedule for the wall width that you can fill in manually.
