Does anyone know if its possible in Revit 2010 to draw on a photo? Or make an aerial photo the base of a drawing?  I'd like to draw an entire site within revit using the aerial as the background. I do this in 3dmax with both aerials and oblique photos and would love to be able to do it in Revit architecture 2010...

Suggestions?

You can insert an image into any 2d view in revit.  Import the image into a site plan or floor plan and scale it to the correct size.

No in 3d view... just like google earth lets you move around in 3d it would be nice if revit allowed you to do this.. I haven't been able to spin the aerial photo around in the 3d view... I can in autocad and in 3dmax though.. surprising...

If you're going to render it you can place a decal on a large floor.

But the problem is it loose resolution if the image is to large like you can see in the first image i post, and revit dont allow to have more than 2 miles...

Typhoon - what are the white lines?  If they are contour lines you can switch them off.
