I am trying to add a ceiling in an area in my plan and everytime I try to add it I get this warning: None of the created elements are visible in Reflected Ceiling Plan: Level 2 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings. I have checked the parameters and visibity settings and it looks like everything is correct to my knowledge, but then no ceiling ever gets added into my model. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

The ceiling is there. The message suggests that it has been created but is not visible. Go into a section view and find the ceiling. Its probably within the floor above, or beyond the view range of the RCP. You may need to hide elements (such as a floor) to find it. Then select the ceiling and adjust the parameters, such as its height, to make the ceiling visible.

I have moved the ceilings to where I need them on the second level, but now when I go to insert lighting components, it will not let me. Can someone advise. I will attach the file for reference. Thanks

The lights are visible in your section view, but you need to go into the family and set the visibility settings to show in plan/RCP.

Open the file that you posted. The lights are about halfway between the floor and ceiling, but to see them in the RCP you will need to edit the family and change the visibility settings to show in RCP. This is currently unchecked.

Those lights are suppose to be there, they are attached to the bottom of cabinets for lighting. When I try to insert lights into the ceiling though, they dont seem to be getting inserted to the model.

The file that you uploaded only contains one light family. You need to go into the family and set the visibility settings for it to show in plan/RCP.
