I am trying to use the Host Sweep command to create a 3/8" wide vertical wall reveal to represent a brick control joint and I am not having much success.  I can get the reveal in the wall and I used revit help to create a new profile, but I'm not finding the way for it to actually let me put my new profile in the wall.

Can someone help out or let me know if there is a better way?

Thanks,

Shannon

Look at the properties of the sweep.  You can set the profile in there, by default it's called 'default'.

When I do that, the only options it gives me are a 1, 2 or 3 brick reveal.  The trouble I'm having is creating a new profile and getting it so that it shows up as an option when I go to change the reveal properties.
