My firm has a type of balcony that we used on a project a few years back. Since then, we have transitioned to revit and I am trying to create this balcony. I have everything built except for the vertical members within the rails (the thin, gray lines in the attacehd pdf). Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.

Create them as a baluster family.  You can model in all the elements, including the support brackets.

So my baluster family will basically be the main baluster, plus the 2 support brackets (top and bottom) as well as each individual vertical rail?

I think I may be getting somewhere with this...

I guess I didn't understand the difference between the posts and main pattern. I'll post back later with some more updates.

I got everything to work except for the C channel at the corner. The rail type is completely different here, as you can see in the break lines in the hand rail. I get an error from revit when I try to create the corner C channel and it says "Can't create geometry for one or more rails." I currently have the C channel created as a rail profile. Any ideas?
