fine as long as everything is straight up and down.. RAC2009

please see the images of this airport tower i'm trying to build..

where the glass angles and sits on an angled base and joins

at the corners and has been hours and hours of mish-mashing

generic model elements..

how would anyone even attempt something like these

kind of angles?

Create the walls as a blend - the illustration shows the first made as one blend and the second made as two blends - which gives greater control over the material orientation.  For the glazing, consider how this would actually be constructed.  You will have to have some kind of join here, even if its a gasket or silicone.  The galzing can be created in the same way as the walls - blends, or as sloped glazing.  Create new mullions for the gasket joins.

thanks so much for reminding me about the blend..

the joy that brings is unbelievable.. of course it helps

to be a little crazy like me..

see the image and all i did was create a big blend

with a big void in the center..

i have no idea how i would create a slanted curtain

wall in there though.. if you have any ideas on

that let me know.. but i'm so happy right now..

You can create it in the same way as the walls or create it as a mass using the blend and select the faces to be curtain walls or create it as an inverted roof and change it to sloped glazing.
