HiIf you view this family from the Front you'll see two Hidden Face symbolic lines. They're move in relation to the t parameter. They're locked to something but I can't work out what.In Wireframe style there is a face of the sweep, but if I unlock & try to relock to it it fails.I've seen it done before in other families, but with ref planes & dims with parameter labels.I can see any of those here. There are some in the profile but can't work out how they're linked to the symbolic lines. What am I failing to understand?

Cheers

Dave F.

If you view the front in wire frame view then you can see what they are locked to - the web of the steel section.

Yes, I mentioned wireframe in my OP, but try & select them, try aligning & locking to them? I couldn't. :-(

 Can you?

The lines may have been done in a section view, since deleted.  You can reproduce this by giving the plane on which the lines appear a name, creating a section through the web, draw symbolic lines on the named plane using the select line tool and deleting the section.

For the benfit of others with the same problem, I found the answer at "another" site:

I couldn't lock the SL's becauseof the curved fillets. If I cut a section through the straight faces I could lock them!.
