I am trying to get a roof correct for a model and have run into quite a snag.  I have attached three images.  The two in white are the revit model and the black is 2D AutoCAD depicting our desires on a finished product.  The "open" side of the pentagon shaped area (in the Revit model) needs to have a gable end, but when I removed the slope definition Revit extends the large roof slope to create an inverted gable (second Revit image).  All the roof slopes are the same and we are certain this can work in reality (like CAD image).  Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or not doing at all?

Try and create the two smaller roofs separately and attach them to the main roof.

So, working with the "open"side, in sketch mode, have the slope definition off for that side.  Then split the line at the center and run slope arrows along them.  Set the slope arrow to what you need.  (See "adding slope arrows to a shed roof" in the tutorials)  you'll probably have to do some adjusting, but this should get you there.
