Im creating an office building and inserted some windows. I tried to render a view through a window but the window isnt transparent. Its just comes out as a grey color. Please help Thanks

You have to assign materials to the objects you render, otherwise you render default materials (usually gray). Also, the rendering will mimic real life conditions to a certain extent, so when you are outside the building and try to look through the window during the middle of the day, you are only going to see reflections on the glass.
