Can't think of any reason why my rail spindles and rail newel posts aren't visible in plan view.

Cut plan is set at -8" from my finished floor revealing the deck joists, but doesn't include anything pertaining to the railing.  The newel shown on plan view is an independant newel that was inserted as a seperate item. The railing box is checked in view view graphics override dialogue box so I know it's turned on there.

Any help???

Also, I'm sure there is a way to add intermediate newels.  I've only seen options for starting and ending newels.

The rail may have ben switched off individually.  Click on the light bulb to see if it is overridden.  If not, where is your floor level.  Try and raise the level of your cut plane and top of the primary range.

In order to add intermediate posts you have to define the whole pattern, so in your case you will define say 15 balusters and then the post.  This becomes the pattern that repeats.  Play with the other settings in the Baluster Placement dialogue box such as the excess length fill to achieve what you want.
