This question is for Revit Architecture 2009. I have a structural model linked into my architectural model (also Revit 2009), and if I go to the visibility/graphics, I see an additional link. I've seen this in other drawings and the name of it is always a number, but the number varies. Does anyone know what this is and what it controls? Thanks.

It may be something that is linked into the structural model?

It refers to the version of the linked file. 2 means you've linked in the file (1), and reloaded it once. Reload it again, ad it'll say '3'.

Not really the number of reloads but the instances. If you copy the linked file in the project to a new location in the project, you will have another instance.

I've noticed this number changing with the file being linked in only once (structural file). The number changed every time I reloaded the file.

WWHub is right. I tried reloading it, unloading and reloading, and even removing and re-inserting, and the number never changed. But if I copied it, the new copy had a different number under the same heading. I think it has to do with being able to control the visibility of individual links if you have multiple copies of the same model but each has different graphic overrides (such as a master plan with multiples of the same building, but only showing the annotations from one of them in a plan).
