Ok Thanks I will give it a try.. Thanks for the help. Like I said I am extremly new with Revit. I just started last night. So you might be hearing a lot from me... haha

So far so good except i can't get all the roofs to join. Like when they are in the same plane. I probably shouldn't have started with a difficult job but this i said i would try it for a relative that needs to do a presentation.

Awesome!!! Thanks so much... that video was extremely helpful. I couldn't find anything on the internet to help. I am going to have a few more questions I know but I think that solves all my roof problems for now. So far Revit hasn't been that bad... even though i keep trying to use acad two key commands. Do you know of a place that has a list of the keyboard shortcuts i could print off. Thanks again ~Pat

There is a folder called KeyboardShortcuts, usually found in the program files on the C drive. You can create new shortcuts or amend existing one.

Great tip in the video from Typhoon on joining the roofs. For this situation, instead of using a roof void though, I would edit that main roof profile to notch it. That would be quicker. I do like the tip on using roof void. That will be a handy tool in my toolbag.
