I have a ramp bounded by a 20cm heigh wall on which I have added a railing which follows the slope of the ramp. The railing however sits on the ramp itself. I want the railing to sit 20cm higher off than the ramp so it ends up sitting on this bounding wall rather than in it. Does anyone how to do this? Attached is an image to explain what I mean.

 Thanks

Just put in a base offset height in the baluster settings.
