I am working on a service garage  with several overhead doors. The doors come into the schedule but the "To Room: Name" or "From Room: Name"  are not available the doors are clearly in a space but I can not get that information. I can not even write in to info since it is a pulldown.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi davbrink, I think I can help.

When you create the door schedule.  You need to create your own parameters.  In the 'Fields' pull down of the 'Schedule Properties' click on 'Add Parameter'.  Name it 'From Room', put the parameter group on 'Identity Data' (or your choice), make sure that the Parameter Type is set to 'Text' and also make sure that you check the 'Instance' box.  Repeat the process for the 'To Room' parameter.  Add any other information you need in your schedule.  The problem with this method is that the doors won't fill these parameters on their own.  Click on any door and go to its element properties.  You should be able to fill in the 'To Room' and 'From Room' parameters manually.  The rooms should appear on the schedule.

I'd be interested to hear if there was an automatic method.  Let me know if you figure something out.  If not, I hope this way works for you.

Go to a section view and make sure that the room upper boundary is high enough to include the door.  It should then schedule.
