Using Revit 2009. Trying to create a custom keynote symbols (i.e. pentagon, parallelogram) from the "Generic Annotation" family template. But when I upload these into my project there is a gap between the symbol I created and the beginning of the leader! How do I resolve this? Can't see anything in the family that would indicate how to tell it where to start the leader??? Thanks

I don't think that you can get the leader to join, but you can create the same effect by adding a short piece of line in the family - see image.
