under "line styles"  "line weights" the main header called "lines"  has a line weight designation options just like all the subcategory lines.

haven't noticed a difference by changing the lineweight option from the default "1".  does it do anything??

I'm just wondering if changing the line weight option for the main header "lines" has any practical meaning.

I changed it to something other than "1" but it seemed ineffectual to the line subcategories. Is there any practicality?
