I am having problems with creating 1:20 detail views. My current building has horizontal section then changes angle by 165 degs. When i am trying to put a dimension from my splayed gridline to my structure this error occurs.

"The planes of one or more references are not exactly orthogonal to this view.  The dimension to these reference cannot be created"

Can any one help??How do i create a detail view in plan that is orthogonal??
