Anyone else have a this problem: I edit my dimension value to "Replace with Text" add text there and "Below" and close the box. All is fine up to this point. If I click on the text again to edit it, I get the normal window, but none of the text I entered is visible, and I then cannot Ok or Cancel out of that window in any way, and have to shut Revit down through the Task Manager. Weird. RAC2009

Never seen this problem. Does this happen with all dimensions or just a particular one? If it is just that one, delete the dimension and redo it.

Well, it happened repeatedly with dimension strings that I would create in a particular area, so I moved on. Now in a new day, I can't seem to replicate the problem. Which I suppose is a good thing, until it inevitably pops up again when I have a deadline. Oh well.

Sounds like it just was on of those one time things, but if it happens again just send a message to Autodesk and ask them if they have run across the problem before. Since adding text to dimensions is a relatively new tool there is bound to be a bug or two in it.
