Is there any way to get grid lines to count as center lines for the purpose of dimensions. We need the centerline tick mark to show up for grid lines as well as walls and the like.

There is, but it's not perfect. By that I mean- I don't believe there is a way to control each witness line independently.<--Spelling? At any rate, you'll need to make a copy of your dimension style, and modify the type parameters. There is a 'Centerline Pattern' option. OK. Step by step. 1. Select any dimension string. 2. Go the the element properties dialogue box. 3. Click 'Edit/New' 4. Click 'Duplicate' 5. Give a unique name- something like 'Dimension - Centerline' 6. Change 'Centerline Pattern' to the linestyle you fancy. You may need to create your own line style under the Settings menu. Let me know if you need help with this. As always, let me know if this did or did not work.

Wait, you want your grilines to display as centerlines? Not your dimensions? Well, it's pretty much the same as I just described- except you will not have to make a duplicate. Make sense?
