When I send a drawing to the sheet in readiness for plotting it leaves the title of the drawing on the sheet(ie it might say east elevation or 3-D) when i just want the image on the sheet without annotation.

Could anyone out there advise how to lose the text ?

Thanks

What i think you are trying to do is what we call placing a view on a sheet. If you want the view without the view title you have two choices. 1. click in the view and then edit the properties of the view. duplicate and make a view with out the title. You do this by just unchecking the show title box in the properties dialog. 2. click in the view then right click on the title and hide view. If you do the second you can turn the title back on by using the lightbulb at the bottom. I recomend the first option. It allows you to alter the view while the title is not visible.

Click on the view and then 'Viewport - No title', on the top left.

tim,

I had to create that viewport.

J12

couple notes now that i'm working on a machine with revit. Edit the viewport (not view). This is in the upper left corner, like tim said, duplicate, and where it says show title "No". then use this viewport. If you already have a viewport with out a title then you're already there.
