I heard somewhere that there was a way to place a background image into a render in 2009 like you were able to do in Revit 08. Been trying to find a way, but to no avail.

Export your rendering as a GIF and reimport it into a sheet view or drafting view. Slip your background behind it.

How do you make the background in the original rendering transparent?

Export it as a png or tif (sorry, not as a gif as I posted earlier).
