I am also trying to take a section sight through my site.  I drew it through my street so that it would show a street elevation of the buildings along the street.  I set the far clip right behind the facades of all the buildings.  When I look at the section cut however, other buildings on the site are showing up in it that are not a part of where I am taking the cut.  I have tried many settings in the properties box such as different cliping planes etc.  This can't be how it is supposed to look.  Any advice?  THank You,

Jen

Click on the elevation symbol in the plan view and check the position of the dotted line showing the view range.  Is the 'Far Clipping' on in the view properties?

I have the dotted line right behind the facades of the buildings along my street.  From the section cut to the dotted line is just the street and those buildings.  I have no Idea why other buildings are showing up between the "camera" and those buildings because they are not there.

Do you have a link in your model (or a dwg from which you traced the elevations)?   This could be intefering with it.

The buildings on the sight are linked in from a sketchup model.  But they are all in the place that they should be.  In all views there is nothing that shouldnt be there except in the sections.

Is your sketchup model one model?

What did you import it as?

From REVIT's help -

I think your answer is here.  You have one import and if any of it ';s in view (or cut), it all is.
