I am using revit architecture 2009. I have a curtain wall where I made the top panels solid metal panel with a 5' grid. The grid lines need to match the mullions below which are 5' OC however the pattern automatically centered on the panel. I tried using the align command but the pattern didnt move. I also tried selecting the pattern and using the arrow keys and move command to shift the pattern but neither worked. Any suggestions?

Your pattern needs to be a model pattern. If you want ot move the lines of the pattern then you need to go into edit mode of the panel and then the pattern is adjustable.
