Drew the section the walls stack above one another as they should with no adverse interference. Nothing hidden. No phases. No worksets. No plan regions. When you do move them back they disjoin.

Wall seperation line? Is the profile edited (try pressing remove sketch)? Is the wall below attached to the floor between the two walls?

Well I still don't know why this happened, but I did get the issue resolved. Apparently it was multiple walls overlapping, but one wasn't visible, hidden or turned off, or on another floor. It just either wasn't there or was on the exact spot as the other wall and couldn't be selected. When I windowed these walls the warning symbol at the top appeared. When I opened the warning dialogue box it gives me list of warnings and under each of these is a list of the wall elements in question, each with there own ID. I was able to check a box in front of one of these elements and delete it it then allowed the remaining walls to be joined correctly. Again I wish I knew what caused this, but at least now I know how to fix it. Thanks again for all the help it was much appreciated. Now I have to go start a new thread because I have a shaft opening and floor issue that has me crazy. Thanks again guys.

Glad you found it. I was very confident there was another wall there. After awhile, you will learn that most issues like this are user error - not programming bugs. We have already been there and still....

Hello, I feel your frustration. I am working on a project where I am developing phases of demolition and new walls. Basically it's an addition to the back of an existing building. I am having the same issue of "unjoining walls" where I am abutting a new wall to an existing wall or an existing wall that remains with a wall to be demolished. They either will not touch even when you pass the walls, (like your image shows) or will create odd voids when they intersect. I agree, extremely frustrating, but not sure how to solve it. I am wondering if either of the walls are attached to ceilings or joined to other walls, does this present "communication" problems with these walls. I am still trying to figure out the problem. I hope this helps and am looking for the solution. Maybe check to see if other phased walls are intersecting the said problematic walls? Thanks,

Does anyone know if there is a way in revit (2013) to set joins to fillet instead of miter? I have a tee intersection in a curtain wall component, and we need the inside corners of the mullions to be curved instead of straight.
Any help will do, even just to let me know that no, its not possible. Thanks!

Not sure what you mean... an image would help... even if you had to add lines. The curved statement just doesn't make sense.
You may be better off to turn off joins for the T leg end.
