Hello, Using Revit 2008. I figured out how to create the dutch hip by reading a couple post. Now I am not sure how to go about adding the smaller gable to the roof. See attached. Any suggestions. Thanks, Raina Mc

Your example should be quite easy to create, as it appears to project slightly from the roof face. Create short projecting lines that define slope with the gable part being non slope defining - see image

I have two roofs with the bottom hip set to a cut off level and the top gable offset. So it does not work unless I am still doing something wrong. I am trying to add another roof to see if that will create that gable up front.

Ended up creating 3 seperate roofs. It works but it seems like there would be a better way. Thanks,
