I am having difficulty locating Reference Planes where I want them. For example, I was trying to create awnings over exterior windows on a building in elevation using the Massing tool and creating a profile for the awning. The dialog box for the Reference Planes has a scroll down which provides pre-set locations. What if I want a specific location that is not already given for a Reference Plane? How do I go to an elevation view after drawing a Massing image in the plan view?

In the reference plane properties you can give it a name. This makes it easier to identify in other views.
