Assistance required for Architecture 9 or 2009 I need help to make a 6 panel bi-fold door. I've tried to make one based on the 4 panel door provideed, but it just doesn't want to work. I've kind of managed to get the elevation looking reasonable, but the plan view is a mess. Also when I load it into my project, I can't adjust the type width. I'm fairly new to revit, and just learning about creating families, so the thought of creating one from scratch is quite daunting, but am willing to give it a go, if I could only find some instructions on the steps involved. I've been struggling with this for a week now, and am getting quite desparate. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much Belinski!!!! That is exactly what I need. I did quite a few searches on this subject, and couldn't find anything useful. Will give the panel family a go over the weekend.

I had trouble creating families when I first started using Revit also. After long hours figuring out all the little tricks, my conclusion is there are many ways to create something like a 6-panel door. The attached 6-panel door is one that I made recently. If you play around with it you'll notice that the actual "door panel" is a nested family. I found it works best for me. Dano

Thanks dano, but I was after a bi-fold with 6 doors. not 6 panels on the door (I should be more specific next time. I did find the family that you uploaded was also very interesting in terms of all the options available, and I will study it further. What Belinski loaded was perfect, and I was able to amended to suit my specific materials.
