Question:  Can I change the scale of a single viewport to metric within an Imperial unit based project?  See image below.

More info:

Overall project units are set to Imperial.  I have a piece of equipment contained in the project, which is dimensioned with metric units - changed a specific dimension style to metric and used only for dimensioning this piece of equipment.

When I place the view of the metric dimensioned equipment on a sheet, the view scale shows as an imperial scale i.e. 1/4" = 1'-0" as to be expected.  Everyting in the view is dimensioned in metric, and it looks wrong to have the viewport as imperial scale.  See image.

Thanks

Boyd

I dont believe this is possible, but you could easiliy switch of the title and scale and do it manually.

Actually this is totally do-able boydj and you are only one tiny step away.
Go back to the view of your detail or callout.Click the scale button at the bottom of the screen.Go to the top and click 'Custom. . .' and then change the scale to 1:50 (close to 1/4"=1'-0" which is 1:4ShadeyGo back to your sheet and . . . . Bob's your uncle!
You were almost there.
Remember the View Tag you see on the sheet simply emulates the parameters of the view itself. It is not unit specific.
