Hi, I'm working in RAC 2008. Some people working on my project won't touch Revit, so are drawing elevations in CAD. I'm linking them into Revit, but sometimes I only need part of the (2D) drawing.

Is there a way to "x-clip" or basically CROP a linked CAD drawing within Revit? I've tried x-reffing the desired information into another CAD file, and x-clipping it there, but when that file is imported into Revit, my x-clip boundary is gone.

Thanks!!

I'm having the same issue - up until now I've inserted the AutoCAD drawing into a plan view and the viewport can be used to crop.  I don't know if it's possible to crop a drafting view - I can't see a way to do this.
