I have a vaulted ceiling in my greatroom. I need the ceiling to slope in two directions as a roof would. When I try to slope the two edges of the ceiling, I get an error saying "there more than one slope defined". Am I to assume that Revit will not allow you to create a vaulted ceiling with one ceiling sketch? Do I have to create two sloped ceilings and have them to meet in the "middle"?

I dont know if that is possible. I know you can sloped ceilings in one direction.  I'd just model it. Cut a section, set up a reference plane and extrude it out.

I've only ever been able to do that with separate sketches.  Hopefully this will be fixed in 2009.

I need a little help with a Revit.

I want to also slope a ceiling in two directions on the same floor, I am using Revit 2009. Can this now be done?

No - ceilings can only slope in one direction - either create two different ceilings or extrude them as an in-place family.
