Hi there

Maybe it is trivial but not to me, can any one explain? What are the 0 dimensions for and how you create them? (Attached a image of the 0 dimensions in a door template family)

I use 0 dims sometimes to keep a reference plane on the face of a wall, or if I'm not using reference planes, to keep the faces of two objects together.  It can sometimes be faster than using a locked constraint, but it depends on how you build your family pieces.

You create a 0 dim the same way you create any other dim.  Just make sure that the witness lines are actually touching the elements you want to dim.  If its not showing up, check your Visibility/Graphics settings to make sure that dims are showing up at all.  you can also check in your Project Unit settings to see if everything is as it should be there.
