What is revit bad at? Sitework. What else is revit bad at? Railings.
So here's a lovechild of revit's two weaknesses that's actually somewhat powerful--A baluster of stacked rocks that tessalates to form a retaining wall.
With revit 2018's new feature that allows railings to follow topography, You can place a railing on smoothly-graded surfaces like paths and roadways and use this baluster on a 4'-8" spacing to achieve a decent, low-effort look.
Enjoy. Improve the rocks at your leisure.
EDIT: This is a BALUSTER which is a component within a railing. Take a default railing, switch out the posts/balusters for this at a 4'8" spacing. |
