I am having trouble loading this family.  what am I doing wrong..?  I have downloaded this item and have placed it under the the structural column family in the library.  I get a message saying that the family files chosen cannot be loaded and I have to select the family files of the structural columns and do i want to try a new set of family files?

The family is a generic model not a structural component

Hi,

I am having a problem when I go to edit the parameters of this model. When I try to increase the CL to CL span to a certain distance I get a bunch of errors and it ends up deleting one half of the member, why does this happen?

Thank you ThatGuy.

I put the family in the structural frame family folder and then loaded it as a beam. It seemed to work for me in Revit 2018.1. When I inputed some values and I got a error dialogue saying that Revit fixed it automatically and when I "Ok"ed it my imputs were processed.
