The Form-Based Landscape Code (FBLC) is a standard for classifying and creating virtual plants in BIM (CC-BY-SA 4.0 Credit: Robert Ward).It has applications in facility management, sustainability, and ecosystem valuation. The FBLC will lower the barrier for landscape architects to BIM allowing greater collaboration, lower cost, and better design outcomes. The FBLC has four parts: (1) Whitepaper, (2) FBLC classes (3) Form-type BIM library (4) hortoXML.
