HOW CAN I CHANGE THE LENGHT OF THE STRING? HELP!

The string is a sweep. you can edit the string by editing the sweep. Its easier to rotate the entire thing to the normal axis. I just had it rotated the way it was for my project. The strings hanging from the main string are just extrusions. And the bulb is just a facebased family attached the extrusions.
