This symbol does not load into my project. Are there any special instructions on how to get it to work?

Studio, my guess is your are possibly trying to load the family incorrectly. If you havent tried this yet, try to go up top to manage tab and insert family from there.

Once you load it into the project go to Annotate > Detail component.
