There is a material for the fabric and also a material for the metal. The height of the curtain can be adjusted on the base and also on the top. The rod height is also adjustable, I think. The curtain is stationary - you cannot close it. The flanges can be adjusted away from the wall or set it to "0" to be flush with the wall.
