Parametric bolt hole. Face-based family. Symbolic bolt hole is an instance parameter. Pentration depth is an instance parameter. Make sure that "Cut with Voids when Loaded" is checked on structural framing or column member. Place family and use "Cut Geometry" tool to create penetration. Revit 2012.
