Hello Everyone,
I love works from Nendo, Japanese interior design outfit, and after trying to find a revit download of the infamous chair i came up empty handed.
SO i had a go at making it.
I'm still learning how to create furniture but i hope everyone likes my attempt.

Morning peeps,
Heres another one for you, a nice Wired style table lamp.
The lamp is fixed in size but all materials are parametric including the bulb.
size is aprox. 300dia. and height is 555mm.
I've put the URL link into the family so you can find it on the net.

U can change the height and diameter of this thing. It could become a bowl it u skrunk it down. There is current a mesh material on it that cuts holes in it. It's sooo cool guys.

I noticed on the other coils that have been uploaded that their technique wasn’t perfect, and it made a squished wire profile. It isn’t very prominent unless the pitch of the helix is larger than the diameter. In this version I corrected it by modeling the cross-section with ellipses using trigonometry.
Everything is parametric including the diameter of the helix, diameter of the wire, height, number of coils, and material. |
