Curtain Wall Panel inspire in Erwin Hauer screen walls (continua series design 3).

I used model technique similar to this (1 simple generic model nested 8 times in a curtain panel family):

This time i didnt break flexibility, so you can use what ever square panel size you want, BUT you need to manually set the half_size parameter on panel family (if your panel size is 30 cm you need to modify panel parameter half_size = 15).

parameters:

1. half_size: curtain panel size / 2, i think it could be automatic if you use a shared/reporting parameter.

2. offset: distance between the two interlocking panels.

3.  P_ofactor: offset factor from center's geometry.

4. P_rfactor: radius factor for void geometry.

5. P_tfactor: thickness factor.

As you notice, i use multiplication factors related to size panel.

how to use it: open family, choose load to project and create a new curtain wall with CW panel EH family (also remember setting a square size cw panel and put that info in "half_size" parameter on panel type parameters).

as always, you can change type parameters to instance parameters and go crazy...

this symbol allows you to move the triangle tag but keeps a leader-type line attached to the dashed shear wall line

i've made the length text be just a user-defined line of text in case a note is needed instead of the length.

Model its not perfect, but I manage to make it parametric. Unfortunately i broke the size flexibility, so only works if you create a Curtain Wall with fixed spacing equal to 30 cm.

parameters:

1. border: 21 to 51 mm, control aperture size (you can make it as instance parameter and control it with Dynamo, like in the image sample).

2. e: thickness

3. offset centro: offset center geometry

how to use it: open family, choose load to project and create a new curtain wall with CW panel EH family (remember fixed size 30x30cm).
