This is a door hinge which is a face based model. When placed on the reveal of a door frame it allows another faced based model of a door panel (use the door's hinge edge as the face) to be placed on it. The family type variable opening angle can then be employed to open the door. This can also be used for opening windows.

this is a window curtain wall panel, so it can be scheduled. you need to bugger around though by adding the conditional statement if(schedule id = 1,width+frame,width) if you want the schedule dimensions width and height to be equal to the windows in a combined schedule. |

The CRL Vertical Sliding Ticket Window can be installed above the counter top without altering its surface. It is constructed of heavy gauge extruded aluminum in satin anodized or duranodic bronze finishes. The sliding lower panel is glazed with 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) clear glass, and has spring tensioned guides to hold it in the raised position. Two spring loaded knob latches will secure the window to closed position. Pile weatherstripping along the lower frame prevents drafts. Frame protrudes only one inch (25 millimeter) on clerk's side, and glass channel installs easily in 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) thick glass. |

This was done with the railing tool. Super clean and easy to use. Copy from the RVT file to your Project. If you get ambitious, add some piles and a no tresspassing sign.
NOTE:
You may need to adjust the material to ensure it looks correct. The chainlink is a model line drafting hatch.
Also, if you change the height, you will need to adjust the 'Chainlink Fence Panel' Profile to suit.

This swing works because its faced-based [applied] to the swing plane. Panel types are also swappable and more can be added. Revit 2017 though. Real Extrusions with no symbolic lines. Jamb frame is also resizable so it can be made narrow to simulate a cased door by just adding trim. |
