New Zealands is a tough place, just look at the Black Sox or the All blacks. The wind is a real pain in coastal areas + near the tops of hills. You need to fix your roof on good, these will do the trick. Use them on rafters to hold your purlins on, what ever you like.

You can add a keynote to it to speed up anotations too.

It's adjustable for distance off wall, height, width, extension above top rung, and bracket spacing.  If you make it too short, you neeed to make the bracket spacing smaller as well, or it won't work.
