Blocking lines have been added to the back and side walls. You can turn these lines off in the Visibility settings in the instances properties. I noticed on the other coils that have been uploaded that their technique wasn’t perfect, and it made a squished wire profile. It isn’t very prominent unless the pitch of the helix is larger than the diameter. In this version I corrected it by modeling the cross-section with ellipses using trigonometry.

Everything is parametric including the diameter of the helix, diameter of the wire, height, number of coils, and material.

Curtain Wall Panel inspire in Erwin Hauer screen walls (continua series design 201).

Model its not perfect, but I manage to make it parametric. Unfortunately i broke the size flexibility, so only works if you create a Curtain Wall with fixed spacing equal to 30 cm.

parameters:

1. border: 21 to 51 mm, control aperture size (you can make it as instance parameter and control it with Dynamo, like in the image sample).

2. e: thickness

3. offset centro: offset center geometry

how to use it: open family, choose load to project and create a new curtain wall with CW panel EH family (remember fixed size 30x30cm).

This is an instance based parametric model of a rooftop ventilation hood with an associated roof curb. The model is roof hosted and remains vertical while the base of the curb follows the slope of the roof. There are 4 main parameters that you can adjust and are as follows:

1) Roof Pitch Numerator: You will need to type in and match the roof pitch of the roof you are placing the vent hood upon. For example, if the roof is a 6:12 pitch, enter 6".

2) Roof Opening Width and Roof Opening Depth: Specify the opening you need. The Depth is the dimension along the slope of the roof.

3) Roof Curb Minimum Height: This will be the minimum height you require at the shortest height of the curb on the slope.
