While we are in Quarantine as a result of the Covid-19 paranoiademic, I decided to spend some time pushing my Revit 2021 knowledge.  I modeled the United States Senate Chambers and Upper gallery. These items are part of the families used to create this model.

U.S. Senator’s Desk in Chambers

This model is FACE-BASED. The Desk has parametric finishes. Both the top and desk drawer can be either closed or open. The family is nested with some accessory items including inkwells, pencils, yellow-pad, notebook and stacks of legislation.

Do you use RCP's as Lighting/Electrical plans?  So do we!  These families have an invisible model line at 7', so if you set your RCP cut plane to just below 7', all of your outlet symbols will show up.  I got tired of having to change it for each project, and I'm sure lots of other people have too.  So this is basically the outlet that everyone else has offered, but with that model line so that it will show up on an RCP.
