Afternoon ladies and gents......
Its been a few days since my last upload but i thought whats the heck, i'll treat you all.
Here we have a nice modern light chandelier. As with all my families i've added material parameters for the bulb, main material and glass shade.
I've also added a ceiling drop dimension parameter which is an instant parameter so you can have the same family in one model but at different heights.
THIS IS A FACE BASED FAMILY, SO TO LOAD ONTO A CEILING, OPEN UP THE CEILING LAYOUT AND LOAD ON FACE.

Here is a parametric nut detail item for you. I was surprised I couldn't find this in the imperial library, so I made one. You input the Rod Diameter and all the rest of the dimensions update. There is an optional masking region.
The dimensions are all based on the proportions of a nut for a 1-inch rod. The height of the nut is a little less than the diameter of the rod. I know actual nut dimensions don't scale perfectly from that, but this worked for my purposes. If you need precise dimensions, you could just edit the family to take out the equations and save your types that way. |

This Glass and Steel Awning utilizes 3 components to set the piece up. All are generic wall based components so they will need a wall backing for them to work.
Awning Frames - is actually just the beam that sits against the wall
Awning Beams - is the module used to fill in the awning.
Awning Beams w-Tension Rods - To show the Tension rod structure at the ends and intermediate as you choose
The canopy's are parametric in "beam to beam" width and material properties but not in length or any others. If you want to modify them fix them in families or build your own ; ) |

Revit 2021 Family - cannot be down saved.
This family is based off of a modular package and parcel delivery locker. I couldn't find a family for the amazon hub delivery lockers or a parcel pending delivery locker, so I made my onw. Pretty basic family, but it gets the job done to describe the scale and rough front elevation of the system.
I modeled this after the indoor amazon hub delivery locker. Main base is 6' - 0" W x 1' - 10" D x 6' - 8" H. Additional 3' - 0" W modules are instance parameters for whatever configuration is desired. Materials are also parametric. |

This family is based off of the Plastico Pyramid Skylights that are for larger opening spans. This is similar to my other family, but this one will only have 4 skylights. It's a modular system with adjustable skylight size with a set minimum 17.25" width and 99" max length for individual units. The mullion, curb depth, curb height, frame height, and pyramid heights are all adjustable. I have created another family for 2x2 units (4 skylights total) that is parametric also. |

I've not had time to add dimensional parameters to it but i have materials, so you can change the outer and inner materials to suit your needs.

Here we go, a great parametric colorbond fence which adapts to the site slopes. Just follow the instructions to use it: First of all, it only works as linear arrays, never curves. 1) Insert the component making sure its host is the site surface. 2) Measure the total distance of the line you want the fence on and subtract 60mm, which is the post diameter. 3) Divide the total by the panel length, for example 2100mm. Example: if we have 22578mm to fence, subtract 60mm and divide by 2100mm. That gives me 10.72 4) Round this number to the next integer. In this case 10.72 becomes 11. 5) Divide the total (22518mm) by 11. 6) Open the Fence Properties and change its length to the result (2047.09). 7) Create an array of 11 parts with the panel. 8) That's it. Done! |
